When I was a kid, I had a dream: to visit all the countries in the world, yeah, weird dream for a 5-year-old one who is supposed to see herself as a doctor, teacher or a dancer LOL. So back in 2007 I had this long-way trip to United States, and it was indeed magical (turned 21 back then).
It really takes a lot of time to fly there (of course, after you get the visa; important: visa doesn't mean you go to USA, it means you go to USA airport and do apply to get to the country - then the custom security checks you and decides whether you're valid, so be nice). First, 4 hours flight from Kiev to London, and then 12 more hours in the air, watching Canada and States under the plane. (1)
